Miscarriage again 😭😭

So my husband and I were just found out we were pregnant with our 4th about a week and a half ago. We've been trying since September and we were so excited. We went and got it confirmed at the health department and scheduled our first drs appointment. Well I took a test this week so that I could see the really dark lines since the ones I had taken were faint. It looked about the same as the ones I had taken a week ago 😭 I went and got more and did several holds and used fmu and they were all the same. My Dr had me come in to get my hcg levels checked and it was only an 8. She said that while it's possible I'm not as far along as I thought, it is a really really low level and I should prepare myself. We had planned to retest Wednesday if I didn't start cramping or bleeding before then. Well I've been preparing myself while still trying to hold out hope. I started bleeding today and I'm just so upset. I had a miscarriage before I had my son and she gave us the go ahead to try again immediately so I luckily got pregnant right after, before I even had another cycle...I'm trying to hope that it'll happen that way this time but I don't know if she's going to give us the go ahead to. She's wanting to run some tests first. Anyone else had this happen where you've had more than one miscarriage but not consecutively?? Were you able to try again right away after your second?
