Do you take a new photo for your license? Or do you use the one you took when you got your permit?

I’m just wondering this I got my permit around five months ago. And I’m getting my license in a couple months but I absolutely hate my permit photo will I retake one for my license or no? Thank you:)￼￼ I tried to look this up online but I didn’t really get anywhere with it

I've always had to take a new photo each time I renew my license.

I take a new photo. They’ve never given me the option to keep an old photo. Definitely wouldn’t use my permit photo since I’m 32 not 15.

Yes depends on state maybe but you probably look different than from your permit picture by now
