Should I go to the hospital?
So I work at a church doing daycare and the last day I was at work was June 25th. I started feeling a little congested and my throat felt a little sore but I thought it was allergies but this got worse. A couple days later I found out that many other people I work with were also experiencing cold like symptoms and that someone in the building tested positive for Covid. I went to the doctor to get tested for strep because my throat felt swollen but it was negative. I started getting better but off and on my throat would swell. The night of the fourth my throat felt really swollen and it felt uncomfortable to lay down. The next day I went to get tested for Covid, strep, and the flu. The strep test again came up negative and so did the flu test. It’s been swollen since Saturday night and it’s getting hard for me to lay flat, sit up, lay with a pillow, and even to stand due to the swelling. It’s been getting worse and then a little better all day. When it’s at it’s worse it almost feels like my throat is closing up and it’s hard for me to swallow which causes me to panic when I can’t or start having trouble. Also when it does it worse, I’ve been having trouble speaking and breathing a little bit. Medicine hasn’t been helping either so I honestly don’t know what else to do at this point
