My first tattoo/piercing

For my birthday (August 6 yayy) I want to get a tattoo for my son I was thinking Roman numerals with his name looping through it (I’ll try and find a Photo of something similar) and I’m also getting my septum pierced not at the same time tho.But I have a few questions

1. How bad does it hurt having them both done?

2. Is it better to get the tattoo done somewhere you can’t see? I wanted to get it done on my wrist but my mum says it might effect my life in the future.

3. How long should you wait after having one done to get another?
