Chastity?

What would equal laying on top of another person? For example, if me and my date were watching TV and he had his arm around my waist and my head on his shoulder would that count? Or does "no laying on top of another person" literally mean don't lay on each other?

Sorry...I'm just getting into what might be my first serious adult relationship and don't want to break any rules.
