Birth Emotions
I am curious if there are any other c section mommas out there that feel like they didn’t have the emotional expression or connection with their babies when they were born?
I have four kiddos age seven six two and a half and eight months. I didn’t express crying joy or any form of elation when my babies arrived via c section. I feel like I have missed something I was supposed to experience. The only emotion I did have was some anxiety when my third was born as he wasn’t breathing and crying like he was supposed to.
I’m just wondering if it is bad that I didn’t have those typical reactions or is it because I could deliver vaginally so I didn’t get the emotional response for the hard work put in to push my kiddos out?
I’ve been wondering about this since my first was born and I am so incredibly blessed that my kiddos are healthy I just wonder if my lack of emotions affected my bonding with them?
Thank you in advance and all be blessed!
