what do rib kicks feel like?

FTM here.  my baby finally is head down (36 weeks) and she’s measured 2-3 weeks ahead with every scan i’ve had done since 20 weeks, so she’s presumably big.  
now that she’s head down i feel this burning sensation against my lower right ribs. last week doctor scanned me and that’s where her feet would be (butt was on my left side he said).  i’ve heard stories of moms who feel kicks in their ribs, is this that?!  it’s so strong!! 😩

Just feels like a kick but it hits the ribs never had a burning sensation with it

I've been feeling the same thing my doctor said its because his feet are constantly pressed against my ribs. I got a maternity belt that has a strap going over my belly and it helps to push back against his feet. Sometimes I have to move his feet off of my ribs by pushing in that exact spot

I’ve had that the entire pregnancy. My baby girl has been head down this entire time. It’s terrible and hurts like crazy!

I’ve had that same pain since 28 weeks! They are looking into if it could be gallbladder related.

It hurts! It feels like your ribs are being pushed from the inside. My little girls legs are in the 97th percentile in length so I feel like she's really really up there 😂

For me, it feels like a regular kick, it just stops much more abruptly and often makes me jump. Never had a burning sensation in my ribs, though-save that for my heart burn lol

you KNOW when your little is kicking your ribs. It probs hurts worse for me bc my ribs were broken but it literally amkes me want to have all my ribs removed 😂
