Refusing to nap?

Anyone else having problems with nap? For the last 2 weeks my girl has not been napping. Last week she napped 2 out of 7 days!! She lays in her bed for an hour and a half singing, talking, playing with her toes.. she’s happy in there but not sleeping. She will continue to be in a good mood until right around bath time and she starts to melt down. I’m hoping this is just a phase? She is too young to stop napping, right?

My Alex just recently has been refusing to nap he will stand up in his crib and just talk to himself. He has learned how to spell his name and he keeps spelling it or counting to keep himself awake.

I don’t really enforce mine to nap as we are still adjusting to her baby sister being here. Some days she does most days she doesn’t. Once she starts daycare next month she may nap a little more

Sometimes, yes! Most days she still naps for like 2 hours, but there are some days lately when she doesn’t nap at all. Surprisingly she isn’t usually crabby afterwards??

I guess every child will stop napping when they decide to. I know some 3 year olds who still nap and some 2 year olds who don't nap. My boy needs his naps. He is so grumpy and tired before his nap and wakes up much happier. Hopefully its a phase!

My daughter stopped napping when her brother arrived in June. It’s been 3 months and she’ll only nap at daycare, so no naps on the weekend. It’s miserable because she’s so cranky and tired but she’ll cry and cry if I try to get her to nap. She goes to sleep around 8 or 9pm and most nights wakes up around 11pm crying and has to come sleep with us because she won’t go back to sleep in her crib. I’m hoping this will end one day.
