Why I didn’t start my period?

I’m on birth control and My last four pills are my “reminder” pills, which basically should make me start my period. I never had sex but I have done other stuff, is it possible that since it’s my first month on birth control it is just messed up? Or should I be concerned? I have also been nauseous with tender breast but that could also be side effects from the pill

Its normal to have very light periods on the pill and to skip your period on the pill even when taking the placebo days. It can take up to 3 months for things to normalize. Talk to yoir Dr if youre concerned, but it sounds normal.

You don’t necessarily start your period the day you start the sugar pills. I’m usually at least halfway through mine when mine starts. And it can also take a few months on the pill for it to be regular. If you’ve never had sex and haven’t accidentally gotten cum in your vagina, you’re good. Just be patient, it’s coming. Also remember that stress can delay it, along with a number of other things
