My second birth 😍❤️

Amanda • Rhyans mum 8.9.15💙, baby Zoey 2.6.20💗. PCOS & partial subseptate uterus 🇦🇺

June 1st I had finished cleaning up after dinner and went upstairs to have a shower, and get ready for bed, after I had gotten my son asleep. I laid down and instantly started getting pains, this was around 9:30, I noticed that they were coming every 5 mins, I took Panadol and had a shower and just waited, they didn’t feel like contractions at all, they honestly felt like a constipation pain in my hip, then after my shower they went to 10 mins then 20 mins, I laid back down and was almost asleep and then boom ! My water broke at 11:30pm, I had another quick shower and woke my partner up because I knew as soon as my water broke we didn’t have long, he got our son, put him in the car I grabbed the final few things I needed (like my phone charger and thongs/flip flops) and we left, dropped our son off at my in laws house and we headed to the hospital, and thank goodness it’s only 5 mins away, walked in to the labour and delivery part at 12am, they monitored me for 20 mins before I said that I felt a lot of pressure (midwife and dr couldn’t believe how well I walked in) I was checked and I was already at an 8 😳, the midwife told the dr to admit me and then I was straight away put into a delivery room, I was only able to get one dose out of three antibiotics in right before I started pushing (I was GBS positive), baby girl made her grand entrance at 1:04am, 3.7kgs (8.1 pounds) and 55cms long. After 4 long days of being in the hospital, due to weight issues and only allowed to have one visitor, we were finally discharged. If anyone would like to hear about my first one about my son which was almost 5 years ago, let me know and I’ll post it in the comments (in the comments now)
