Choosing a birthing center

Has anybody started registering at a hospital yet?! I’m a ftm and I thought all hospital had a birthing center and I guess they don’t.. I was told that the hospital I want only has 2 birthing center and they are both almost an hour away.. and I try to google birthing center near me and everything that’s it pulling up is hour or more away from me. And im not sure what to do. I don’t wanna drive an hour away while in pain.. plus I have sure bad anxiety about driving and highways..
