Celebrating religious holidays without the religious aspects?

I never said santa clause and all that were Christian parts of the holiday. Pretty sure my post implies I know that. I'm also not mad at others for celebrating how they choose. Pretty sure I mentioned that already too. Please stop focusing on that, I was just looking for other people's opinions on the matter, not looking for people to attack me. 😅 Thank you!

Okay, I know this is going to get a lot of people in a tizzy so please the full thing read before you comment. I am Christian and I celebrate Christian holidays (Christmas and Easter). I celebrate the religious aspects of them, the birth of Christ for Christmas and the resurrection of Christ for Easter. However I also have a Christmas tree, santa, presents, cookies, etc for Christmas and Easter bunny, eggs, etc for Easter. Anyway, there's a small part of me that doesn't really like how people who aren't Christian take those holidays and just celebrate them for the fun of them and entirely remove their original meaning. However I will never say that or act offended or anything, obviously people have the right to celebrate whatever whenever. That's fine. I've always thought it would be offensive if someone took another religion's holiday, such as Hanukkah, and took the religion out of it. Yet people do it with Christian holidays. My question I guess is, if you are religious and someone took one of your religion's holidays and took the religion out of it just to celebrate it for fun, would that offend you at all? And if you aren't religious, what do you think? Again, I'm not here saying you shouldn't celebrate Christmas or Easter unless you're Christian. I'm not saying that at all! So please don't attack me. 😂 Just looking for others' thoughts.
