So happy

I want to celebrate my win! My baby made it to 7 weeks and is actually measuring 7 weeks! I have had two miscarriages and although week wise I was past 7 weeks both baby stopped growing about 6.5 weeks.

Yesterday after the ultrasound I found myself adding things to a registry. I couldn’t help it. I’m daydreaming over here if it’s a girl or boy! I was so happy yesterday and today the realization that at any moment I could potentially miscarry again has me burying my happy thoughts and just trying not to think about the baby or plan the next steps in case it doesn’t happen.

That’s the raw truth when you have had miscarriages. It robs your joy in future pregnancies. I’m trying so hard to be happy in the little wins and I hope they add up to my 🌈 baby.
