Were you allowed water during your 3hr gestational diabetes test?

My clinic told me I was allowed to drink water while here doing the test (before and during.) out of curiosity I looked it up on here too and see conflicting answers so just curious if others were allowed to or not?

With my son at my first 3 hr I was able to sip a little bit. My second 3 hr with him, I wasn’t able at all

I failed it due to not being able to keep it down. So I have to be treated as if I have it

I haven’t done the test at all yet but my doctor told me I could drink water. Especially since I’m worried about drinking that orange stuff without vomiting
