I need help

So my last full period started on may 28. My so and I thought I was pregnant since I was getting a bunch of faint positive tests. The tests however turned negative so we went to the doctor. Doc said it was a chemical pregnancy. Okay, cool. But then my period never actually came back like it was supposed to. My so and I have had unprotected sex a lot since that doc visit so we thought I could have ovulated again and just didn’t bleed, and I could be pregnant. Every test I’ve taken is negative. A week ago I started spotting and then 3 days ago I THOUGHT I finally was starting my period. It only lasted for a day. I’m still spotting tho.

Has anything similar happened to any of you? Please let me know.
