Just a thought: Matthew 7:13-14

So I’ve been a part of this app since April I think. I have shared my “Christian opinion” many times, and I have experienced discrimination because of my “narrow thinking” or “close mindedness” when it comes to moral or political topics. I decided to read through the book of Matthew and I came across a verse that I think touches this subject quite well: Matthew 7:13-14 NLT

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to Hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”

We are also told that we will experience persecution for our Christian ways of thinking. I choose to be open minded in the sense that I will accept and pray God’s will in my life. I will be close minded, however, to protect my mind from worldly thoughts that bring destruction. I have decided to follow Jesus and walk the narrow path. I choose to keep my mind on the things above, the things that are unseen and eternal🌿
