Advice?!? Dude friend confessed he had feelings.

Sooooo... I’ve been friends with a guy for about three years. We would hang out from time to time, all was sunshine and roses, and then he confesses that he developed feelings. Deep feelings. Think marina trench deep. I tell him I don’t reciprocate, he says okay, and we stay friends.

I’m dating the most amazing man I’ve ever met, and now dude friend keeps trying to be friendly. Nothing weird, just checking in, asking how classes and work are, etc. But now I feel uncomfortable with our friendship and it makes my boyfriend uneasy too.

I don’t know if I should break off the friendship or just continue to reply when he texts, even though I get uncomfortable. He has had issues with depression in the past and I don’t want to trigger anything. What would I even say?!? SOS
