my bf never takes me out anymore. we’ve been dating for eight months. should I be concerned??? we barely went on dates bc of COVID so our relationship has been mostly just us chilling. now that things r opened around me safely, still nothing. everyone around me’s bfs are taking them out. I feel like i’m not enough. and I feel like I can’t never be truly loved enough to do that for. :(

Have you tried asking him about going out for dinner? Do what makes you two happy together,  not what everyone else is doing. Maybe he doesnt feel comfortable going out yet, but the only way to really know is to ask him. 
Honestly my boyfriend HATES going out to eat. We do get breakfast here and there, sometimes togo but i dont let it bother me. If i want to go out, ill hit up a friend or my mom 🤷🏼‍♀️. And it honestly kinda flatters me that he would rather have my cooking than restaurant/fast food anyways. But we live a simple life so to each their own.

We don’t “go out”. Mostly because of financial reasons and I’m uncomfortable taking our two month old out/leaving her with other people. But you don’t have to “go out” to have a date... you don’t have to “go out” to make someone feel special. Your concerns sound a little immature to me personally. Healthy relationships don’t hinge on being catered to or showed off in public and they certainly aren’t comparable to OTHER people’s relationships. Just because others are doing it doesn’t mean anything. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes my boyfriend and I still go out. We’ve been together for 2 years and we live together. 
You need to talk to him about how your feeling. It may just be that you two got into a routine and he’s used to it.

we don't go out the same ways as we used to bc of lockdown, but we have dates every week. we just got back from a short vacation in napa with friends (everyone got tested + mostly stayed at the airbnb) to escape the poor air quality here. other days we'll do something special like make an especially fancy dinner (last time i made him steak with caviar and garlic mashed potatoes). or go to the park and have a picnic, go to the drive-in, stargazing at my house, movie nights, etc. 
if it's a point of insecurity for you, definitely talk to him about it! people aren't mind readers, it's important to express your needs to your partner as they might have a different love language so while they might think everything is fine as is, you might not feel as loved/close as you would like to be.

Why don’t you ask him to go out.. maybe that will help.. I have been with my bf for 2 yrs now and since covid we haven’t gone out. Now that everything is open we still don’t go out as much but I’m 27 weeks pregnant and just scared to go lol. He still try’s tho he takes me out to the beach park etc.
