Relationship question

So my husband and I just came off of a major on the rocks period in our 17 years of marriage, this was probably the worst it’s ever been. I won’t lie the make up sex (and there has been a lot of it) has been phenomenal .. but I’m 46 and I have lost a lot of weight which has brought my cycle back in line, and these are things he has certainly paid attention to! He asks just before bed and a wonderful sack session,. What if you get pregnant? Well up to age 40 and a major abdominal surgery which I have healed from that was fine, but I wasn’t healthy enough unlike now. 6 yrs later, a 5 yr old we adopted at birth, and now we are going to worry about this? I told him I had an appointment on the 1st I could start Birth Control then and he said no that’s one more Ned I don’t want you on.. ok so WHAT IS THE QUESTION?? I finally said we will worry about it if it happens but for right now what we do know is 1)high risk, 2) high risk, and 3 oh did I mention high risk? If he was willing to go down that road then 🤷🏼‍♀️ ok fine. Let’s do it! And we have 3 more times since 😂💕💕. Thoughts/opinions/what would you do? I mean how do I say no to him?!?❤️❤️
