OBGYN Red Flags!

So today I had my first appointment & officially met my OBGYN. I’m a travel nurse for work so I’m not in my home state to see an OB I know. My first appointment w/ the practice they did an ultrasound at what would’ve been me at 7w4d based on my LMP but the technician said the baby was measuring 6w3d. Ok cool, things can be miscalculated. I had gotten 2 free ultrasounds since then at a clinic by me & both times the baby measured exactly what my LMP was 10w1d being the most recent.

Fast forward to today, doctor walks in & before she even does an exam or assessment on me, she goes on to tell me that I don’t look like I’m a good candidate for a vagina delivery & a baby 7lbs or greater I would most likely have to have a cesarean. EXCUSE ME?! This lady hasn’t even done a pelvic exam or anything & based everything on me sitting down on the table in a hospital gown. I proceed to tell her about my last 2 ultrasounds & how their technician had measured me being earlier than my calculated LMP. She just wrote me off & said she trusts her technician’s measurement & didn’t want to do another ultrasound until 20w. Didn’t even attempt to listen to my belly w/ her stethoscope or anything.

Thank God I’m switching providers in October because this lady clearly doesn’t listen to her patients & makes assumptions prior to even laying hands on her patients.
