AF or just spotting before hand?

So I ovulated 4 days later than normal this month. And starting 3 days before my original scheduled period that was adjusted by both Glow and FF to this coming up weekend instead of this past Monday, I started spotting light brown with clear slimy (sorry if tmi) cm only when I wipe, and not everytime I pee. I have now been spotting 6 days with the occassional wipe of pink with brown. Took a hpt and it was a bfn. My hubby was 100% sure I was pg this month as he said he noticed things that have only occurred with my previous pregnancies that ended in loss before 7wks. If this is spotting I will be at 12dpo but if its the witch then when should I consider her to have arrived?
