2nd baby blues anyone?

Friends! Vent session alert:

I am 30 weeks pregnant and my son will be a year and a half here in 2 weeks. So far in my pregnancy I don’t think he has understood or really cared at all.

Recently (and I know this could also be “terrible twos”) he has gotten really mean/angry with me. Screaming at me and crying during meals, hitting me or hitting me with his toys, etc.

All I can chalk it to is the upcoming baby and maybe him starting to notice changes? My son is usually my best buddy. My husband has even noticed he’s been noticeably different with me (than he has been with my husband lately). We are both confused. It’s absolutely heart breaking for me bc 1. I am currently chalk full of hormones and 2. I just don’t want him to be “mad” at me (I know that sounds so stupid).

This afternoon I had to excuse myself and go upstairs so I could cry without my husband or son seeing me. Lol I have been broken by a 1 and a half year old 😂 it feels silly to type that out, but it’s true: a TODDLER made me cry today.
