Sleepover at Grandparents

My baby is 3 months old and usually sleeps fine but for the past week he's been a terrible sleeping, me and my partner (his dad) are exhausted so my MIL offered to take baby for the night. I really want to let him sleepover but I'm really scared that I'm going miss him and be sad and want him back, which I don't want to take that bonding time away from his grandparents. What can I do to help with that feeling so he can sleep over and we can get a bit of rest?
