Does probiotics work for diarrhea with little poop

Anyone have any luck with probiotics helping they baby stop pooping after or during ever feed. Idk if it’s her formula or what starting September 11 she has been on straight enfamil neuro pro with no problems the last two days after ever feed she poops but only a little doc says to try probiotics for a week and see if that help and if not switch her to enfamil neuro pro gentle ease my concern is that she has a good 10 bottles left from the powder formula we have and I don’t want to buy another one and then they switch her formula and have toss it out. Should I just go ahead and switch now and still give the probiotics I do plan to call the doc back tomorrow and see if that’s an options. Did anyone have any luck with probiotics.
