Is my co worker wrong?
I’m a teacher & my grade level team and I are really close. Every other week or so we decide to get together and have happy hour so apps and such. I am 8 weeks pregnant and with COVID I have been more careful. I am also around my infant nephew weekly (she knows this information).
My coworker told the team yesterday that she has been feeling bad all week with a sore throat and runny nose. And it started on Monday so she didn’t come to school this week but she did today. She said now she thinks that it’s just allergies and she’s fine... we had a happy hour planned this evening and I told her she should stay home. Long story short... she came and I didn’t get out of my car. She told my team that she won’t tell me anymore about her sore throats. I was already upset that she was selfish and came when she didn’t feel good but now my blood is boiling that she said she won’t tell me!!!! Would you confront her about her saying this?
side note: A few months ago we all had gotten lunch together and the next day she told us that her boyfriend was positive for Covid and that he had a fever that week but she didn’t tell us when we had lunch that he had a fever and that she was living with him so she was exposed...
Edit: she said yesterday it felt like she aw swallowed razor blades and she only came to town today because she had to help her family member with something. ☹️
