Do you find it extremely hard to leave a relationship if you have a child . Example a child younger than one.

I find it hard and bothersome to me. It’s like you wanna forget about someone so bad because they did you wrong, but it’s hard to get over someone and not contact them especially when the baby needs something 😓😓

Well ideally you don’t have kids with someone you don’t want to be in a relationship with... that’s why it’s such a big choice to reproduce with someone. If things ever soured with my partner, it would be extra painful because we have 2 kids, but if it was clear that was the best choice, I wouldn’t hesitate and we’d still have a lot of respect for one another. I’m certainly not the type to stay in a relationship “for the kids” because I think a loveless relationship is worse for kids than one that has love but is a little dysfunctional.

I think if a marriage or relationship could be saved with hard work - it should be. If there’s anything unsalvageable which is probably up to the people in the relationship butt there’s obvious things (cheating, abuse, etc.) then it’s better to be cut and dry and just end things. Plenty of kids have two “sets” of parents and are happy. Plenty of kids have married parents with toxic relationships and are unhappy.

No I didn’t find it hard at all especially the father treated me like shit still does I left him when I was 17w pregnant with our second daughter I’m currently 21w and met a super nice and sweet military man
