Why do people hype sex?

I really don't have anyone to talk to honestly, and I've just been feeling this way for awhile. Why do people hype sex up so much? Why is this generation all about sex? There's so many better things out there than sex, lol. Sex is so risky, for not that much payoff. STDS, pregnancy, pain, regret. Sure, I find it okay... but it's just not the best thing in life... in my opinion. I've been with my husband for years and years, and sex really doesn't do it for me. I'd rather him gush over me, and do things that make me feel loved and have long conversations than an orgasm any day. I can do that with a wand real quick and get it out if my system. Is anyone else like this? Just me? Okay. Lol.
