Is it worth it to buy sizes up for baby when your broke

K so just a question but if money is super tight and you see something like a coat or boots that your child could wear in a year when they grow a bit but it wouldn’t fit them for a long time but it’s on sale do you buy it?

Just seen a north face coat posted on a consignment site for $12. It’s size 2t and my daughter is in size 6-12 months right now, she’s also 16 months old so she’s tiny. My issue is I’m on extended maternity leave so my pay. Super low, I also have a 2 week period over xmas where I won’t be getting paid as I took 2 extra weeks off so I wouldn’t have to work during Xmas. So money is tight but the coat is cheap and she could defs wear it next year. But I’m sure if I don’t buy it something else will come up sometime within the year.
