32 weeks but measuring 35-36?

Hi everyone, we are 32 weeks 1 day with our first baby boy, we went for our scan today and found out he is 2.4kg and measuring 35-36 weeks in size. Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, what happens?

Doc said they will monitor and may need to look into early induction if he continues to grow at this rate.

At my 32 week appt baby was measuring about 2 weeks ahead. I know the scans are a little off so I’m not too worried minus the fact that his head is measuring super big. Scares me haha

I measured 2 weeks ahead consistently with my first from 20 weeks on and ended up going into labor at 38+4 and having a 9lb baby. This baby is now measuring over a month ahead and we're just waiting to see what happens. I have a repeat c-section scheduled at 39 weeks but am now getting checked weekly (35 weeks) and if I start to dialte or baby drops it's highly likely I will be sent in for the c-section then. 
With it being your first it will probably be a waiting game and just letting baby do what it's going to do unless you develop some other risk factor that would indicate a need to deliver early.

Following, I haven’t been told a weight- just told abdomen and head were on track. But long bones were 2.5 weeks ahead at 24 weeks. Next scan is nov. 6th
