4 yr old cry it out

My four YEAR old wants me to lay with her every night all night

If i leave she starts screaming and crying and screaming my name

I usually just lay with her to avoid this but lately it’s getting really irritating laying there for an hour trying to get her to sleep like it shouldn’t take so long. So tonight i laid with her for the longest tome. And finally said i was saying goodnight and closing the door.

She’s been screaming MOOOOOOM at the top of her lungs so hard she keeps choking and crying and kicking her wall but i feel like if i go inside again i’m just letting her win and she’s even said she only screams because she knows i’ll come back when she does oh and if i don’t come she’ll open the door and stand in the hallway screaming or come find me.

i caved and now she’s just laying here staring at me and if i move an inch she freaks out and she refuses to close her eyes. :) love life :)
