Work on these more or do they get the point across?

I DIYd these flame wings and had very little to go off of since I guess itsuncommon to add flames to a costume, my son is HILARIOUS I have always called him my jack jack baby because of his quick changing attitude and very opinionated self, so when my older wanted to be a fire fighter I came up with jack jack in fire mode, so this was the test run. Do they look ok or should I try to tweak them more? Or undo entirely and cut out felt flames to add to the fire frame? It was extra tricky because it was more flimsy than I was hoping so doesn’t stay as well as I would like. The progression is in pics below.

**alllllll the wire is excessively covered and no sharp edges. The feel was a lot like the wiring on children’s wings, but I have no idea what exactly they use.
