I'm losing hope, my doctor won't do tests till I hit the year mark but I feel like I'll never get pregnant.

If you aren't taking ovulation tests I would strongly suggest it! Have sex the day of positive and 2 days after.
Also preseed can help :)
If you have tried that then dont worry. Doctors dont test earlier then 12 months because it CAN take that long with no fertility issues! I know it's hard not to stress though... keep trying:)
