Insensitive nurse? Or just keeping it real?

Cd 35 nothing but bfn after bfn. 6days late so I called my ob office. Nurse said at home tests r very sensitive and if I’m testing negative at 6 days late that I am DEFINITELY not pregnant. Said if my period doesn’t start by the middle of next week then we can talk about getting me in to do some blood work since I’m trying to conceive. What bloodwork does she mean? Is she correct in what she said? Give me some personal stories that give me hope! 🤞

I don’t see what was insensitive. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sounds like she gave you accurate information and a solution. Stressing can cause you to be late, and it sounds like you’re stressing.

She's being honest, not rude. Blood work can be different tests to check different levels of hormones and such. You have to wait for certain times for better results. Since she knows you're trying, it sounds like they're going to look at different things now to start finding what might be happening.
