Wife wants sister in delivery room instead of husband... 👀

Saw this on IG ... what do you guys think?? (AITA = Am I The Asshole?)

Personally, during my first labor experience I was very adamant that I only wanted my husband there. My mother invited herself and wouldn’t leave even though she promised she would 🙄 I was upset by this, however, in the end if it had only been my husband I wouldn’t have had quite the support I needed the first time around.

I understand the wife wanting a familiar female support person and someone who’s been through labor before. But I also understand how hurt the husband must be feeling, although I do think he’s being petty in saying he’s refusing to drive her to the hospital.
