First ulrasound

So today i went into my first ultrasound and didn’t go how i expected it to. The tech didn’t let me see the screen or anything so idk what she saw but apparently she said she isn’t seeing what she should be seeing. So now I’m panicking and just waiting for the call from my doctor on what’s going on. I went and checked with my doctor yesterday due to sudden gush of dark blood but it stopped right away with no cramps and my cervix and all is still closed.

Has this happened to anyone else in their first trimester and still had a good outcome or this isn’t normal?
