Dealbreakers

How do you navigate with dealbreakers? My SO we’ve been together 10 years and have two kids together. I have told him from the beginning I wanted a big family(4kids) and he’s unhappy and sacrificed after having our first kid. Trying to build his business and get his life back on track. He doesn’t think he’ll have time for himself or get ‘himself’ back until the kids in elementary school. I get the sacrifice and kids are fucking stressful but i don’t know. I’m thinking I’ll regret and be depressed when I look back wishing I had more. I’m concerned though that I leave him and don’t ever find good love to have at least one more baby. His whole family has this mentality that ‘I love my kids but I can’t wait till they’re 18’. I’m not sure if that’s a guy thing? He’s a great dad and I’m trying to figure out ways he doesn’t have to give up himself and his life but it’s what he’s chosen to do right now until they’re in school.
