Are you seeing family for Thanksgiving?

Cats&Coffee🐈‍⬛☕️

I’m legitimately torn on what to do

My uncle and aunt have hosted since I was a little one.

5 of the people that normally come are not because of Covid and another one is working.

So it would be my husband and me, my parents, my little brother, my aunt & uncle (who’s house it is) and my grandma on my dads side.

I’m pregnant, my grandma is in the age risk category, & my uncle is extremely compromised (has beat cancer more than once, has had multiple transplants).

I think because my uncle has been on deaths door more than once, he’s very much about living his life knowing his health could turn at any point so as much as I hate to say it, he hasn’t been as careful as he should be during this pandemic. And my grandma literally can’t sit still, she was driving to empty parking lots to do figure 8’s when we were on lockdown 😂😂

So I know they really want us to come, but I’m so afraid of bringing in germs. And also looking out for myself and our little bean growing inside of me. But I also LOVE and look forward to thanksgiving every year because my aunt & uncle put so much love into making the day and meal perfect

I have my first prenatal on Wednesday so I’m definitely going to talk to my doc and get a medical professionals advice but curious as to what everyone is doing this year?

Also, except my parents no one in the family knows were pregnant yet.

If we don’t go, hubs and I and all of our animals will have a quiet thanksgiving at home
