Do i listen to my DR?

My baby is 3 months and clicks when I nurse, drinks from her bottle or has her pacifier. She’s not tongue tie the doctors checked her but her doctor said it’s normal for her to make This sound. Anyone else’s baby?

Most normal doctors isn't well educated in tongue ties, some clicking is ok but should be checked by a specialist if it's while nursing.

Most pediatricians aren’t trained in ties and can miss even significant ties. Clicking is an indicator of a tie. I would recommend making an appointment with a pediatric dentist who specializes in ties and does laser release and have baby evaluated. That’s what my pediatrician recommended

My daughter clicked when drinking too, I got her checked out and she had a high palette and no tongue ties. I was told it was fine, and she just grew out of it and it never affected her feeding or anything.

Clicking is normal! Doesn’t hurt to get a second opinion though from a lactation consultant or someone who specializes in tongue ties if it is concerning you. Tongue ties typically don’t hurt the baby but if they’re clicking a lot this could mean that they’re latch is not strong and they’re losing suction when latched into something. My little guy’s pediatrician told us he did not have a tongue tie when in fact he did. His explanation after we had our lactation consultant tell us he did and sent us to a specialist to get it clipped was that he told us he didn’t because he “didn’t believe in tongue ties”.

100% take her to a lactation consultant or pediatric dentist. Many pediatricians are not thoroughly trained in ties, and can miss one. As you can see below, some don’t even believe in them... 😅 A pediatric dentist is also the one who can fix a tie.
