6 weeks 4 days. HCG questions

So last Saturday the 14th, I was in the hospital and my hcg was tested and was at 8072 at 5 weeks 6 days. My dr sent me for another hcg test today, at 6 weeks 4 days.

So if they are supposed to double every day, then my results should come back around 250000+, correct? Or once they get higher like that do they not double as quickly? That seems high to me. I’m just worried that if my results come back lower than that then something is wrong, is that how this works?

I’m supposed to then come back for another test on Monday at 7 weeks 1 day, and then my doubled hcg would be like 4000000... which doesn’t sound correct. How does this all work? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I am just super nervous this pregnancy, and really hoping for a healthy little baby 🥰
