Hcg concerns

So I am 6w5d today.. last Saturday at 5w6d I was at the hospital and had hcg checked and was at 8070... now I had them checked again yesterday and they are at 16500... aren’t they supposed to double rapidly? Or does it slow down after a bit? I’m very concerned 😓
