When to start testing out the hcg at home?

Hey ladies. I had my second miscarriage and I swear my brain is fried and I can’t remember from my first how soon after you passed the sac did you start testing to manage the hcg out of your system? I passed everything Tuesday night. I figured start testing in the beginning of December? Or is that still too soon? I plan to ask my doctor at my follow up appointment but I was curious what you all did. My numbers were around 22,000 when I started bleeding. And they had continued to increase even though I have had stopped growing at 6wks2 days. Until I lost the title pregnancy naturally at 8.5 wks.
