Anyone else getting worried about covid? I live In the Midwest where covid is spreading —Although it is spreading fast everywhere in United States. What are you doing to try and reduce your risk? I am 7 weeks pregnant and am considering taking my 4 year old son out of daycare for a month. I work at home and it would make life interesting at home .....

Definitely I'd pull him out of daycare. Stay home and only go out for essentials right now. We still go for walks in the park and different places to get out.

I would definitely take precautions if you can. If you have the ability to take your four-year-old out of daycare, do it. A lot of people think that Covid will be around for a long time, but it won’t. The vaccines that have been made are 95% effective, just like the measles vaccine. And measles is not really relevant anymore either. Dr. Fauci has asked that we wait just a bit longer and take all precautions that we can, so that’s what my family is doing.

I was only concerned in the first trimester because you really can't take a lot of things in the first trimester. Im less worried now that im 18 weeks but I still play it safe. This thing is always gonna be around im not gonna fear life and jist be cautious and live.

I went ahead and took him out. Our daycare is so flexible he can go back when we are ready. I’m so tired in the first trimester it was a tough call but I feel fortunate it was an option.

I am also in the Midwest and am concerned. I am 16 weeks on Thursday and currently still working as a nanny. My husband works from home. He s wanted me to quit since I got pregnant but I am trying to hold out till end of January or February. I will be a stay at home mom and will be nice to have son time off before the baby comes. 
I was worried when the parents were still going into work a few times a week. The mom is a teacher and so was around teenagers that weren’t social distancing outside of school. Now she is doing distance learning.

No. I live in Tacoma and we just do grocery pickup and I’m a SAHM so I basically just social distance anyways. My husband is in the military and they’re all constantly getting exposed. His last time being this week, he tested negative. We’re doing everything we can already.

I’m 18 weeks but not much my husband and i can do along with our 5 year old. We both work full time on site and going to college we just have to hope we don’t get sick. I just got off quarantine from working with a positive but I never got it and I’m going back to work today.

Yes, I’m 30 wks. I work from home 3 days and go into the hospital the other 2. My husband works from home & my kids are doing virtual learning. Keep your circle of ppl small, wash your hand, sanitize ALOT. I haven’t been to a store or restaurant in months. It stinks but I also do t wanna end up in ICU like a lot of pregnant women do.

Good luck with having a 4 year old at home while working!  I also have a 4 year old and his school was closed for a week and doing both parenting and working while pregnant was the most exhausting 5 days of my life (pretty sure I cried daily), on-top of it my husband was quarantined with Covid so It was all me only.
I feel like it’s a personal choice, I’m also in the Midwest and I feel our daycare is taking every precaution so if it’s coming home it’s from my husband (who had it already), not school and it’s best for my son to keep his route as much as possible during these crazy times.
My biggest thing is I do everything as delivery or takeout.  Food, groceries etc.  I don’t go into stores unless i have no choice.  We also clean and sanitize everything a lot more often then we ever did before Covid to ensure I don’t get sick while pregnant.
