HPV OR NO? NO JUDGE ZONE

Question

So, I had an abnormal pap smear that showed HPV .. but when I had the biopsy and had my cells sent off it didn’t show HPV .. just an inflamed cervix . Has anyone had something like this before? And do you think this mean I still have it ? The doctor didn’t even tell me what type of HPV I have . I feel like I’m dealing with an inexperienced doctor.

It’s so common but if a biopsy didn’t show anything don’t worry. I had abnormal pap one year, had a colposcopy and everything came back normal. Year later my pap was normal. Try taking vitamins that have “flora” also our body fights HPV so just wait till your next pap! 🙏🏼

My mom and I tend to test positive for hpv on and off meaning 1yr we test positive and the next we won't but never had an abnormal pap. My mom had a biopsy done and they found nothing. They want me to have it done but I refuse because of the pain plus if my pap is always normal 🤷.
