Someone let me know if I'm in the wrong please

My almost 10 month old is 100% force fed by a feeding tube. Since its not a bottle and he can't just stop eating when he's done i track how much he's getting so if he throws up/gets fussy/etc I can figure out if its from to much formula or something else. I even put a marker on his pump for them to just write it on the bag but even thats asking to much. Its been almost 4 months and 2 of those months have been a struggle getting them to write it down.

Am I wrong for asking his babysitters (grandparents who originally agreed to write it down) to track how much he's getting?
