Yeast infection remedies?

Last week I think I developed a yeast infection, my vulva was itching like crazy. The itch went away but now it’s irritated and hurts a bit to wipe it. The other day I noticed some white looking discharge around my vagina, I’m not sure if it was discharge but it was a bit crusty so I cleaned it off and it came back today a tad bit. Those are my only symptoms so far it’s been a week of this.

I called the doctors to see when my Gyno has any availability but it looks like everyone is fully scheduled so I’m not sure when I’m going to get a call back. I bought monistat but I’m a bit scared to use it if I’m not 100% certain it’s a yeast infection. Are there any other products anyone recommends I can use in the meantime for the irritated vulva? Thank you!
