We live in Florida and are self employed so we are fortunate enough to move any where we really want to. We are not fans of living in Florida and definitely want to move to Tennessee within a year or two. I’m stuck if we should try to move to Tennessee in March or wait another year in Florida.

Problem is, our rent in Florida is $1500 and in Tennessee I know for sure we can get a significantly cheaper place and a possible single family home. (I have done tons of research/ which locations would be possible).

We’d be able to save a lot more money in the long run if we did move in March but financially it would be bad timing because of taxes and it would be a lot of stress. So I’m torn. I don’t know which the better decision would be and would love advice. I’ll be happy to answer questions.
