You and your baby’s father have an infant. Say 6 months. He’s cheating and you’re tired of it. Would you leaving knowing your baby never even got a chance of  having unity in the home? Is it being selfish to leave, like am I cheating my son?

ALWAYS leave a cheater, regardless of the situation.
A child is so much better off with happy, single parents. He doesn’t need to be brought up in a household of no trust or respect. You also deserve so much better!! 
Know your worth, be happy for yourself and your son.
Shame on the partner who cheats and ruins their family.

You’re cheating your son by staying with him. Get out baby girl. Show your son that he has such a strong independent mama who doesn’t put up with pieces of shit like that and show him how to respect a woman because his dad doesn’t know how.

I think it solely depends on you. How hve things been in your relationship? Has he been supportive in the other areas of the relationship such as financially, physically helping you with baby, etc? Has he been reliable and dependable? Does he want to be faithful and make the relationship work? If a person is willing to change i “might” be open to it. But i wouldnt take their word id need to see concrete actions and behaviors changes. Id also want couples counceling. 
   But if he hs always been a bum, leech, lazy, cheater, never reliable, never dependable then id say cut your losses. Do what puts u in a favorable position. What your favorable position is needs to be decided by you. It may be staying until u get on your feet to leave and hve a place of your own. It may be moving out with a relative. It may be being his roomate until you get on your feet. But do whatever is gonna put u at an advantage in the years to come. And if u are rralizing he was never a good guy for u then leave.

Your child still has a chance. Staying with the father doesn't mean there will be unity. It'll only demonstrate to your son that cheating on and lying to his partner is okay. You'll be unhappy and he will see it. He needs to know what self-respect and healthy relationships look like.

Yes. Cheating is a deal breaker for my husband and I. We have two children but there's no way we'd stay when we were unhappy. That's not healthy and we don't want our children growing up thinking it's okay.
