Clothes for chunky babies?

I’m so pissed at all these different baby clothing companies. My 6 month old is in the 97th percentile for height and weight. I have had to go up to 12 month clothing for her already, and even those, like Carter’s brand, run small sometimes. It either doesn’t fit her little fat arms and legs or her tummy, or her legs in length. Mommies of chunky babies-where do you find clothes that fit well?!

This frustrates me to no end!!! My son is off the percentile chart (he’s not unhealthy, just a chunky boy), and I find it so hard to buy pants for him. He’s 2.5, and in size 3, but the only pants for boys his age are jeans, which have no give in them are are too tight on his legs, or fleece track pants, which are too hot (we’re in the middle of summer at the moment). There are so many options for girls, but nothing for boys!
Sorry I can’t offer advice, I just wanted to rant with you!

Cat and Jack from target and grow/w/me wahm pants worked well for our tall cloth diaper baby.

My girl wears boys pants. We also always sized up 1-2 sizes so they wouldn’t be constricting her movement. So at 8 months she was wearing size 18-24 month clothing. 
“Joggers” are the best pants. We get them from Target or old navy. Old navy shirts seem to run larger, but check their measurements.

Old navy and children’s place were good for my chunker when he was bitty but old navy does narrow out as the sizes go up.  Under armour was roomier too.

Both of mine were chunky babies. It really depends on the brand. I have noticed too that Carter’s runs smaller. I shopped at Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory and The Children’s Place.
