Late night calls/face timing

Hey guys so this guys wanted to FaceTime during the night time because he had gotten home from work, am I reading into this too much or does it sound like sexual things he would have been saying? I was too tired too so I refused but even in the afternoons or late afternoon we chat together and it's nothing sexual. Is it a good thing to do with someone new you like or would you go against it?
