What does a contraction feel like?

I’m having belly cramps in my lower stomach and my lower back is killing me. It doesn’t feel like a cramp tho?? I’m 33w 3 day. This is my 3rd but my other two I had c sections and only had Braxton Hicks

For me contractions felt like mild period cramps at first but they just kept getting more and more painful.

For me it was a pressure. It didn’t feel like contractions which I read about or heard from other moms.

🙈for me, when my contractions first started, it felt like I had to use the bathroom.

For me i just knew immediately but it kind of felt like a mild tightening cramp that went down into my thighs. I knew it was different because I felt it in my back and legs and it could be timed

I knew I was in  labour when labour when I started swinging my hips and had an urge to be on my hands and knees

So for me I had back labor and regular labor pains. My back labor felt like a lower back ache that never went away. The regular contraction pain felt like a horrible period like cramps.
